Who We Are

Vieux was founded by Phil and Renée Piediscalzo, owners of Orleans Shoe Co. — a four-location specialty footwear retailer in New Orleans, Louisiana. After more than two decades of fitting thousands of customers across every foot shape and comfort need, we built the brand we always wished existed: premium European-crafted footwear at a fair price, designed by people who actually understand how shoes work on real feet.

Our last name, Piediscalzo, means "barefoot." It's more than a name — it's a philosophy. The best shoes disappear on your feet. Everything we make at Vieux starts from that idea.
